If you use local authentication, you can assign an entity to an individual user in Sheriff CSM. See Create New Accounts for Local Users.
If you use LDAP authentication without a local user, Sheriff CSM uses a default entity. See Create New Accounts for LDAP Users.
In the Sheriff CSM web interface, go to Configuration > Administration > Users > Structure and click New Entity.
Specify the name of the entity in the Name field.
(Optional) Specify the address of the entity in the Address field.
Select a parent correlation context or an entity from the Parent list.
Select the time zone from the Timezone list.
Associate assets or networks with the entity by selecting assets or networks from the asset tree.
After you add assets, you can remove them by selecting an asset and clicking the [X] button. You can also remove all assets by clicking Remove All Assets.
Associate a Sheriff CSM Deputy with the entity by selecting a deputy from the Deputy list tree.
If you change your mind and need to delete a Deputy, click the [X] button. You can also remove all Deputies by clicking Remove All Deputies.
